Top 12 Legit Work from Home Jobs for Moms in 2024

There are so many “work from home jobs” advertised literally everywhere, and a lot of them end up being scams or have high barriers to entry. A mom might want a work-from-home job to be there for her kids, save on commuting costs, and have the flexibility to manage household responsibilities. While there really are legit work from home jobs out there, they can sometimes be hard to find, and the schedules aren’t always ideal. I have been lucky to work from home for the past two years, both full-time and on my own business. Here are the top 10 work-from-home jobs that are perfect for moms in 2024. These jobs are not only legitimate but also flexible and rewarding.

Work From Home Jobs for Moms

So, I had to figure out how to make money from home while being the main caregiver for my kids. I wanted to be their biggest influence during these early years.

I also needed a job that didn’t involve constantly being on the phone. That sounds awful! Those jobs are out there, but they’re not practical for moms with kids.

And it had to be a real job, something that brings in actual money. Taking surveys for cash isn’t a job, and neither is using cashback apps. Anything that sounds too good to be true probably is. I needed a legitimate job I could do from home.

Lastly, I needed something that didn’t require a lot of education or investment. I didn’t have time to go back to school or a lot of money to invest upfront.

Honestly, whatever you enjoy doing and that pays the bills! Most legitimate jobs for moms at home do require some education and investment, but nothing like a three-year college course.

With that in mind, I researched for months, and here’s what I found:

THE BEST FLEXIBLE JOBS FOR A STAY-AT-HOME MOM:

These jobs are super flexible. You can do them part-time or put in as many hours as you can. I get a babysitter a couple of times a week to put in more hours, and I also work during nap time and after bedtime. There’s no set schedule, which is crucial for working from home as a mom!

Flexibility is key for moms working from home. These jobs allow you to balance work and family life, providing the opportunity to earn an income while being there for your kids.
