Kourtney Kardashian’s Homemade Apple Tea Recipe

Kourtney has long endorsed an organic, dairy-free keto diet that almost completely omits artificial products in favor of natural ingredients.
Kourtney has inspired many throughout the years to pay attention what we eat, after all, we are what we consume.
It may surprise you to know that there’s no actual tea in Kourtney and Kendall’s apple tea. The recipe, shared on Poosh, is actually a combination of several fruits, spices, and herbs all boiled together, then strained into steamy mugs of goodness.
When the mom-of-three wakes up, before even thinking about food, she takes collagen supplements on an empty stomach followed by a glass of water mixed with one tablespoon of organic apple cider vinegar 20 minutes later. “Both of these habits have a ton of health benefits that affect everything from your skin to the way your body processes nutrients,” Kardashian explains. The apple cider vinegar blend, known to help with weight loss, is in her daily regimen twice along with vegan probiotics shots—both before breakfast and dinner.

Apple Tea Recipe
INGREDIENTS
1 quart of water
1 red apple (sliced into quarters)
2 cinnamon sticks
8 whole cloves
¼ teaspoon of turmeric
1-inch cube of ginger (sliced)
1 bunch of mint
1 lemon
¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
Organic Manuka honey
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Add water, apple, cinnamon sticks, cloves, turmeric, ginger, mint, and cardamom to a large pot.
2. Squeeze half of lemon into pot, thinly slice the other half.
3. Bring pot to boil. Simmer for 10 minutes, covered.
4. Add 1 teaspoon of honey to bottom of each mug.
5. Strain tea over honey in mug to dissolve.
