There’s so many fun things to do in Venice Beach. It’s well known for its (of course) beaches, and its skateboarding scene – but there really is something for everyone!

I was shocked to see the talent that is the Venice Beach Skate Park. Get in on the adrenaline-pumping action at the Venice Beach Skate Park, where skateboarders showcase their skills right by the beach. So many of them were doing tricks and flips (my anxiety!). Honestly, the talent at this skate park is worth the trip alone.

You know how I feel about sunsets, and the magic of a Venice Beach sunset did not disappoint. Find a prime viewing spot along the shoreline or from the Venice Pier and witness nature’s spectacular display against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean.

Explore the Venice Beach Boardwalk:

Enjoy a leisurely yet entertaining stroll along the Venice Beach Boardwalk, a crowded and well walked promenade filled with so much energy and excitement. There’s everything from quirky boardwalk shops to street performers, and restaurants along this mile long boardwalk.

Picnic at the Beach:

Pack a picnic basket and head to the beach for a relaxing afternoon by the ocean. Spread out a blanket on the sand, pack your favorite delicious snacks, and enjoy the sunshine as you enjoy quality time with friends and family against the backdrop of the Pacific coastline.

For those who are into jamming, this is a great experience in Venice Beach! Feel the rhythm come alive at a drum circle gathering held on the sand. I saw two of these going on in my short time here! Join local musicians and drummers as they create infectious beats and invite passersby to join in the celebration of music and community.

At the heart of Venice Beach, Windward Circle offers prime people-watching opportunities. If you are anything like me and enjoy people watching in a new location, go here! It’s in the center of everything and is always filled with crowds of interesting people.
